Attend the world's biggest food and wine pairing masterclass.

Event details

In the UK, Wine Education Week launches with an attempt to break the Guinness World Records title for the largest ever recorded sommelierie lesson. This fun educational event takes place on Monday 9th September at The Kia Oval, London SE11.

Guests can enjoy a drinks reception from 6-7pm then wine expert, TV personality, author and columnist Olly Smith and sommelier Virgilio Gennaro (Wine Director at Giorgio Locatelli Consultancy) will teach attendees the art of pairing food and wine. You’ll learn how the key flavour components in food affect how you taste a wine. At the end of the session, you'll have the skills to create masterful food and wine pairings of your own. Just like the professionals do! Attendees will sample four wines with a selection of complementary foods. The event is sponsored by The Wine Society.

Come learn more about wine and play your part in breaking a Guinness World Record!
